Terms of service

Last updated July 23, 2026. Plain language on purpose - if anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll answer plainly too.

What FleetShop is

FleetShop is subscription software for fleet maintenance shops. Each subscription gets its own private instance at an address you pick (yourshop.fleetshop.app): its own running copy of the software and its own database, shared with no other customer.

Your account

When your shop is created you receive a one-time password by email, and the first-run wizard has you replace it with your own admin account. You manage your own users (admins, advisors, techs) inside the app, and you're responsible for the credentials you hand out.

Billing

Billing is monthly, handled entirely by Stripe - we never see or store your card number. If a payment fails, nothing is lost: your shop stays online for a grace period while Stripe retries your card, and we email you about it. If payment can't be collected, the shop is paused (not deleted). You can cancel anytime; when the subscription ends, the shop is paused.

Your data

The data in your shop is yours. You can export it at any time - CSV exports and a full backup are built into the app. We access it only to operate the service or to help you when you ask us to.

When you cancel

Your shop is paused, and its data is archived for 90 days - ask within that window and we'll get you an export. After 90 days the archive is deleted permanently.

Third-party integrations

Optional integrations - Samsara telematics, labor-time guides, NHTSA VIN and recall lookups - run only if you configure them, using your own credentials where credentials are needed. Not configuring them means those services are never contacted on your behalf.

Acceptable use

Use your shop lawfully, and don't attack the service or attempt to reach other customers' instances. We may pause an instance that is being used to harm the service or others.

Availability

We run this as a small, careful operation: nightly off-box backups, isolated instances, honest communication when something goes wrong. We don't promise a formal uptime SLA, and we won't pretend to one here.

Changes

If these terms or your price change materially, we'll email you before it takes effect.
